Debt Cures
I was working while watching (WWW) TV yesterday, and I was too lazy to look for the remote. So I caught an infomercial by Kevin Trudeau on his latest hype book, Debt Cure They Don’t Want You To Know. LOL. Well, honestly, I have never read the book but the dumb blonde cohost was enough to turn me off. Actually, I have no idea about the blonde’s real IQ since she is probably on the train along with Mr. Trudeau, certainly curing her own debt with these sort of books.
Anyway, if nothing else would convince me that this was a book better purchased at a garage sale or the bargain rack, it would be the title. Oh, they did a great job of copywriting, but c’mon people. Who is They?
“They” are certainly not the US FTC (Federal Trade Commission), since they publish tons of reliable information on debt repair. They tell you which schemes are probably illegal at worse, or unproductive at best, and which are really solid ways to solve debt problems. You can find the link in that article to go right to the FTC website where you should find enough information to keep you from dialing any 1-800 numbers for awhile, at least.

2I can agree with you.. The book has its merits, and I never discourage anyone from their own path to finding financial freedom, but I do believe better value can be found elsewhere. I contribute to Really Bad Credit Offers and I usually find with finances it all begins with a sound budget and discipline, and flows from there. Anything is possible though, goodl luck!
