Well you bid on auctions that are all for charity on Silvertag. The lowest unique bid wins! What?
For instance, if you bid $34.99 for a video MP3 player, and so does somebody else, then that is not unique. However, if you bid $34.99, and even if two people bid lower $33.99, you still can win if you are the only bidder with that bid! The unique bid means it is the only one with that exact price, and if you are the lowest one who did that, then you win? Did I just make that sound more complicated then it needs to be?
